Prime Minister Modi in Jharkhand: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the airport at Deogarh in Jharkhand and other development projects on Tuesday and laid the foundation for the ‘Maha Vikas’ project worth Rs. 16,800 crores.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi reaches Jharkhand to inaugurate Deogarh Airport and also inaugurates the In-Patient Department and operation theatre services at AIIMS Deogarh and other development projects
Prime Minister Modi laid the foundation stone for the Deogarh Airport project on 25 May 2018, which has been built at a cost of Rs. 401 crores and expands on an area of 657 acres, for the people of the region or area. In Jharkhand, Deogarh will be the second international airport after Ranchi. The Deogarh Airport will provide direct connectivity to Baidyanath Dham to our country’s people, a religious place thronged by lakhs of pilgrims from all over the country every year. Next week at Baidyanath Dham the annual Shravani Mela fair begins.
PM Narendra Modi will also dedicate to the nation the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Deogarh, which has come at the cost of Rs. 1100 crores and inaugurates the In-Patient Department(IPD) and operation theatre services at AIIMS. Prime Minister Modi took Twitter to share that he visited Jharkhand and Bihar on Tuesday and he said that “I look forward to being in Jharkhand and Bihar tomorrow to attend various programs. In the afternoon, I will reach Deoghar where I will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for development works worth Rs. 16,800 crores”.
The development of the IPD and operation theatre services will set up the new AIIMS at Deogarh which will help in achieving the special purpose of medical departments and providing super specialty health care to the people and also create a large opportunity for the doctors and other health workers of this region or area.
According to information, the laid foundation stone projects include multiple roads, energy, and other infrastructure projects and include widening of Palamu-Gumla road, Rehla-Garhwa bypass, and Mirza Chowki-Farakka road besides elevated corridor from Kutchery Chowk to Piska More and Itki RoB in Ranchi. Widening of Gorhar-Khairatunda road, Khairatunda-Barwa Adda section and Ranchi-Mahulia section, Ranchi station redevelopment, Jasidih bypass newline, Godda Coach Maintenance depot, Garhwa-Mahuria doubling project, facility, and pipeline network at CBM Jharia block in Parbatpur, Bokaro-Angul section of Jagdishpur-Haldia-Bokaro-Dhamra pipeline and LPG plants at Barhi and Bokaro these all are the part of the laid foundation stone projects.
He also said that “Will have the fortune of ‘darshan’ and worship at Baba Baidyanath Temple at the holy city of Deoghar just before the beginning of Shravan. On July 12, will get the opportunity of inaugurating the airport. This will make the journey for devotees easier and boost tourism in Jharkhand”.
